We are particular about the maintenance of the scissors you purchase, so that you can use them with peace of mind.


We promise to restore the sharpness and condition of your scissors to their original state, no matter how many years or decades you use them.
There are many cases where the characteristics of scissors are significantly damaged by sending them to another company for "sharpening."

 

Therefore, please be sure to contact us for "sharpening and adjustment."

Warranty/Returns/Exchanges

Warranty

If you are not satisfied with the quality or experience performance issues within 10 days of receipt, please return the product to us.

We will replace or repair the product. In addition, if a product malfunctions under normal use, we will repair it free of charge within a 3-month warranty period from the date of purchase.

Please note that for repairs and polishing due to wear and tear or damage from use, you will be responsible for the actual costs.

Q. Can I pay in installments? What is the maximum number of installments?

A. Yes, you can. You can pay up to 60 installments through shopping credit.

 

 

Q. Can I try out the scissors?

A. Yes, you can. If you are in the Tokai, Kansai, or Kanto regions, we will bring samples to you, so please make a reservation via our official LINE account. Please also consult us if you are in other areas.

A. Once your scissors arrive at our company, we will sharpen and adjust them and ship them within one week, excluding holidays.

 

 

Q. Does color coating affect the sharpness? (Will it become dull?)

A. No, it doesn't. With Saiki Scissors' manufacturing method, the blades are sharpened after color coating, so the sharpness will not change. (They will cut just as well.)

Q. Where should I send my scissors for maintenance?

A. Please send them to the address specified by the authorized dealer. The repairs themselves will be handled by Saiki Scissors, the manufacturer.

Q. How much does maintenance cost?

A. The cost is 5,500 yen including tax per pair, regardless of the model.

Q. How long does the sharpness last after one sharpening?

A. It varies depending on the person and how they use the scissors, but many people consider six months to a year as a general guideline. Please send them for sharpening and adjustment when you feel that "the hair slips and you have to cut multiple times" or "the blade has small chips."

Q. Do you accept maintenance requests for other companies' products?

A. We do not accept scissors from other manufacturers because we do not know what kind of steel they are made of, and we cannot guarantee compensation if they break or are damaged during the sharpening process.
